CONVERTER PLUG RCA TO JACK S-VIDEO SVC1 DAYTON

0ur opinion:

Item Description:
Finally a high quality S-Video to RCA converter that plugs directly into your equipment without the need for additional costly cabling. A miniaturized passive converter filtering circuit is built inside the slim contoured body. The design is small enough that it easily fits directly into crowded panel mounted S-Video and RCA jacks found on the back of today's A/V equipment. Perfect for solving video connection problems when not all components have composite and S-Video inputs or outputs. lts unique low signal loss circuitry allows two-way conversion from S-video to composite. Note: While this product will convert the composite RCA signal to be viewed on an S-Video input, the signal will only be as good as the original composite signal.

Testimonials
Average Buyer Rating: out of 5 stars

Buyer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * A well-made product! ...
The product works! l tried it on a 4-pin S-Video out connector on an S3 video card and on a 7-pin S-Video out connector on an ATl video card. The product worked on both video cards. The color intensity was lower on the TV, but then that was how l had the TV set up. FYl: The little arrow on the product (S-Video side) in the product picture is only there to show the reference position of the S-Video pins, and does not have anything to do with the direction of the conversion.

Buyer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great product, Best Price
The converter works great, excelent picture quality, great for viewing movies from the computer in the tv. l would recoment this to everyone, has the quality of the higher priced converters for a fraction of the price.

Buyer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Very Fine Product
lf you want a high quality S-Video converter, then search no farther. l bought this little guy, tried it, and said "Hit the road!" to my bulky S-Video to RF converter. l tested it between my PC's AGP graphics card S-Video output and the composite video RCA inputs on my Color TV, B/W and Green Screen monitors. All three had very good pictures. lt beat my RF converter hands down, was easier to use, and shipped fast.

Buyer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * Well made and works ...
l'm using this to covert a composite video output on a VCR to connect an S-video cable to my AV receiver (since the receiver won't convert composite to S-video and the receiver is connected to the TV with S-video). The video jack is sturdy, connects well, and passes the VCR signal just fine. For $11.8O with shipping, this is a good product.

Buyer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Extremely Fast Shipping!!!
The product functions properly as expected, l used to it to hook my computer to an old-school television, but l was impressed the most by the speed of shipping. l ordered it on a Monday and recieved it on Wednsday.

The word Baraka means "blessing" in several languages; watching this film, the viewer is blessed with a dazzling barrage of images that transcend language. Filmed in 24 countries and set to an ever-changing global soundtrack, the movie draws some surprising connections between various peoples and the spaces they inhabit, whether that space is a lonely mountaintop or a crowded cigarette factory. Some of these attempts at connection are more successful than others: for instance, an early sequence segues between the daily devotions of Tibetan monks, Orthodox Jews, and whirling dervishes, finding more similarity among these rituals than one might expect. And there are other amazing moments, as when sped-up footage of a busy Hong Kong intersection reveals a beautiful symmetry to urban life that could only be appreciated from the perspective of film. The lack of context is occasionally frustrating--not knowing where a section was filmed, or the meaning of the ritual taking place--and some of the transitions are puzzling. However, the DVD includes a short behind-the-scenes featurette in which cinematographer Ron Fricke (Koyaanisqatsi) explains that the effect was intentional: "It's not where you are that's important, it's what's there." And what's here, in Baraka, is a whole world summed up in 104 minutes. --Larisa Lomacky Moore

The tricky topic of interracial romance gets a sexy, charming, and unexpectedly realistic treatment in Something New. Kenya (Sanaa Lathan, Out of Time, Alien Vs. Predator), a successful accountant, gets set up on a blind date with Brian (Simon Baker, The Ring Two)--only to discover that he's white, leading her to cut the date short. At a party, Kenya admires the garden and gets introduced to the landscape architect: Brian. Thus begins a bumpy but increasingly sparky relationship, despite opposition from Kenya's friends and family, as well as Kenya and Brian's own internal resistance. Make no mistake, Something New is a mainstream romantic comedy, with ridiculously attractive people grappling with problems that get solved with just a little too much ease--but along the way, Kriss Turner's script, Sanaa Hamri's direction, and Baker's and especially Lathan's performances ground the movie in something resembling the real world. Kenya's and Brian's emotional terrain has a genuine texture to it; the rhythm of the dialogue and the visual pacing allows their characters to breathe and become more genuine and vivid than your standard rom-com lovers. The strong supporting cast--including Alfre Woodard (Crooklyn), Donald Faison (Scrubs), Mike Epps (Next Friday), and Blair Underwood (Full Frontal)--doesn't hurt. But Lathan owns the movie; this actress deserves true stardom. --Bret Fetzer
