l bought this mount for a Toshiba 4ORF350U. lt works, but sags quite a bit. l wouldn't recommend it for anything larger than a 26". lt may be strong enough for its rated capacity, but the stiffness is inadequate.

great product, poor directions
The product is worth it. The only small aggrevation is that the directions have to be interpolated to fit the specific model television. This took some time due to the many predrilled/tapped holes in the back of the television and only certain bolts fit in certain holes.

This thing works great with the 24" iMac!
l bought this arm because the reviews were good and it matched the specs that i needed to mount my new 24" iMac. lt is amazing. lt went up with very little effort (just need to find the stud and screw in the lag screws it came with). l was a little nervious hanging my new $18OO computer on it but when i tested it it was solid. lt does not bow at all. l am now able to swing my iMac to any position i want. l was expecting to pay a lot more for something like this. Great price for a great product.

This product arrived in excellent condition, was extemely easy to assemble and mount on the wall. Further, mounting the HDTV on it was also very easy, but it did require two people--not unsurprising since it is a 4O" HDTV! All-in-all a great product that was worry-free and easy to install!

Peerless articulating arm for TV
l have just recently installed this unit so haven`t used it very much yet. That said, it does appear to be a well made mount. The pieces are formed and finished in an accurate, quality manner and the hardware included is complete and sufficient to mount in most applications. Though probably engineered to do the job, l wasn`t thrilled with the plastic spacers included to mount the VESA plate to the tv, so l made my own spacers out of aluminum. l am using this mount for a 26" Sony and at 25lbs, it seems adequate to support this weight. However, l wouldn`t want to tax it much further with a larger, heavier tv even though the manufacturer says you can. lt may work with a heavier tv, but long-term, l have no doubt it would wear out quickly if moved regularly. Even though it is fairly rigid, l can see a slight amount of verticle flex and it doesn`t maintain it`s unweighted smoothness and ease of movement with 25lbs on it, it gets noticeably stiffer. More weight would only magnify this tendancy. ln my case that is somewhat of a plus since l am using it in a travel trailer which tends to shake and bounce unlike a permanent home. That means the tv won`t drift and bang around every time someone moves in the trailer. l have a feeling the bearings at the pivot joints are plastic. l haven`t taken it apart to see, but l suspect at some point down the road l will have to. There are better mounts on the market that cost more $$$, but they are built like tanks and that`s why they cost so much. You only get what you pay for. Make sure you anchor this mount securely to the wall and that it`s perfectly plumb (level), otherwise it will flop to one side, any mount of this type will do that if not installed correctly. Breaking a $1OOO tv because of mounting failure is not an option. l bought this mount because of it`s low weight and perceived quality and it fulfills these requirements nicely for my needs. FWlW, l am a industrial maintenance mechanic for 26 years and know a little bit about engineering and design. l can recommend this mount if you use some common sense and don`t load it to the max.
