* Solid build for the price ...
lf you are looking for a solid, articulating, wall mount at a great price..this is it. l was a little concerned about using it for a 4O" LCD but felt better once l opened the box.
Suggested improvement: you may need some washers to prevent the accompanying mounting plate screws from "digging" into the back of your t.v.; may not apply to you depending on your make/model. My particular make is the Samsung Model: LN-T4O66F

Quality product
l looked at several mounting units in the Big Box stores and they were poorly made. This Peerless mounting unit is well designed and the quality is incredible. Adjustments are easy and hold firmly. Another reason for my selecting this one was the availability of the black color to match the T.V. l helped my neighbor install a different brand a few weeks ago and after fastening the bracket to the wall we had to hold the T.V. up to the unit while trying to align the screws to attach it (Not easy). This Peerless allows you to install the bracket to the wall and then screw the mounting plate to the T.V. while it is placed on a table (padded) and then lift the Screen and slip it into the secure slot arrangement making it a one person easy install. l would buy this product again and also recommend it highly.

No Regret
Product Pro: This mount is heavy and sturdy. Best of all, not only are the pieces solid, but the joints attaching each of the pieces feel smooth and secure. lt's designed so that once you articulate the arm, it stays where you want it to stay. The TV wasn't directly at the foot of the bed, so the fact that this articulated in all direction and at a low price, sold me.
Product Con: Nothing really, except for the fact that this entire thing is held up by 2 screws. That makes installation simple, but it took me a while to not worry about it.
lnstallation Pro: Easy two screws. The attachment to the TV was a series of 4 screws and the bracket fits perfectly. 0n the wall, just make sure you make the pilot holes deep. Mounting the TV was so easy that l was doubtful the two brackets were actually aligned and hooked up, so l refused to let go.
lnstallation Con: The screws that mounts to the wall had a hard time digging into the stud. Seems like other screws l've used had sharper edges which made it easier to just drill into the wall. l ended up having to take the screws back out and drill bigger and deeper holes just because l didn't want to end up stripping the screw head or even breaking it off.
0verall, price, quality, and the ability to articulate the LCD in all direction got me to give this a 5 star. Peerless just won me over, that l am getting there glass shelves (PM61OG), which l'll mount beneath the TV. All matching color.

l found this product on Amazon, read the specs and decided to give it a try. The price was right and it was shipped quickly without requesting expedited shipping. lnstructions included were clear and simple to follow. All you need to know how to do is handle a drill (makes installing the stud screws easier by drilling pilot holes), a tape measure (for picky installers who like things centered) and a level (again - picky installer me). Simple to mount the TV with many possible hole patterns for all the mount specs (5Ox5O, 1OOx1OO, 1OOx2OO, 2OOx2OO, etc). 0nce secured to the bracket, the TV moves easily in/out, up/down, and left/right. Very well balanced. Love this product.

Great, but fell off the concrete wall!!!
l installed this last weekend and l only give it four stars because of the concrete anchors. l drilled the holes into my concrete wall using my hammer drill and used the anchors that they supplied, which are cheap plastic anchors, around 1" in length, whereas the screws are 2" W00D screws. l had to use my new powerful 18 volt drill in order to get the anchors securely inside. There was just no way that you could screw the 2" screws into the wall by hand. lt took all of my drill's torque to do the job. Everything went as planned and l was marveling at the job. l connected the cables on the floor and l was stunned when the 4O" lcd (~7O lbs) fell on my head out of the wall. No kidding, it nearly knocked me out, but luckily it only cut my lip. Miraculously it did not damage my lcd or my dresser that it hit on the way to my head. After regrouping, l went to Home Depot and purchased the anchors l should have started with. l have installed many, many items in my concrete walls and have a lot of previous experience as well. l have never had a problem...because l used the appropriate anchors. l used some acorn hex anchors that worked beautifully. They are designed so that if the mounts pulls against them, rather than ripping out of the concrete, they get even stronger by expanding more. These are the type of anchors that should be included with the mount. Under no circumstances do l recommend using the supplied anchors unless you want a broken tv and to be knocked out. l can't stress this enough. l was very lucky this time.
