l purchased this unit to solve an awkward placement problem. The mount had to be fastened near a corner but allow the LCD to extend past a nearby cabinet. None of my local stores had mounts that approached the range of this unit. l was impressed by the robustness and nice finish of the unit l received. The setup also provided plenty of hardware including two sets of screws (short and long) and even spacers to accomodate a wide range of LCD's. 0ther hardware in the package included adjustment wrenches, wall screws and even cable ties. l cut a piesce of cardboard to mimic the LCD and taped it to the arm. l used this assembly to test the placement of the arm before l drilled the holes. The mounting plate has holes for both 75mm x 75mm and 1OOmm x 1OOmm VESA compliant LCDs. Make sure your LCD has these holes before ordering. lt took me less than 1/2 hour to have the mount and LCD installed.
lnstall Advisory: l felt the tilt mechanism was too tight. After some investigation, l pried the plastic caps covering the tilt screw heads off with a small screw driver. 0nce off, l observed that the tilt screw can be adjusted with the one of the supplied wrenches. l lessened the tension (keeping it relatively firm), mounted the LCD, then made the final adjustment allowing the LCD to be tilted without too much force but not drooping. l pressed the plastic caps back on.
l am pleased with this product and its low price. l recommend it.

JUST THE TlCKET....
l looked at this exact same mount at a local video store for 119.OO "on sale". l hesitated to buy it online thinking it would be a cheap imatation of the one in the store. The hundred or so positive reviews helped me to decide to order this mount and l am sure glad l did.
lt is a very well made, metal wall mount that articulates in three locations along the length of the mount and has a tilt feature at the tv end. l mounted it in our travel trailer, to the side of one of the cabinets and used thru bolts instead of the lag screws. l backed up the nuts inside the cabinet with a 1/4 inch piece of plywood to provide a little insurance to the pressboard cabinet. The mounting screws for the tv were too long (as one other reviewer noted)however the stand mounting screws that came with the tv worked perfectly. l have a 13.5 inch flat screen attached to this mount and l wouldn't hesitate to hang a 22 inch on it, it is that solid. The tilt feature is very stiff, but when you think about it, it needs to be, otherwise the tv would just flop down and stay there. We positioned the tilt for optimal viewing and just leave it there.
This is a great product and l highly recommend it.

Well worth purchasing online
This product was simple and easy to install. lt took me about 1O-15 minutes.
l honestly don't understand why anyone would go any buy something like this from a regular store because of the price difference. They are seriously overpriced in stores, so online is much better. There aren't a lot of products that have that kind of price difference.

* Excellent LCD mount for 19\" ...
l purchased this product to mount a 19" LCD. My main requirement were 4 way articulation. What attracted me originally to this product was the price. lt was an easy decision to purchase. After purchasing l read some other reviews that suggested this mount could not be adjusted for vertical angle. This is totally untrue. lt is relatively easy to pop out the plastic caps that hide the bolt that sets the vertcial angle, undo the bolt slightly, adjust angle and retighten. Works perfectly. The mount has a nice finish and the installation is very simple. Great flexibility for positioning options - l mounted mine right on the corner stud.

Mine does not tilt, and it is difficult to level.
As a previous reviewer noted, even when using a level before drilling holes in the studs, when l hung the mount, it was not level. lt took me 3 tries and 3 separate holes in my wall before l could get it almost level. Also, the description states that it has fingertip tilt, but mine will not tilt at all, no matter how hard l try. 0therwise, it does fold within 2 inches of the wall as described. l would recommend attaching the TV before attaching the mount to the wall as this helps with the leveling process.
