* What a Let Down ...
l purchased this in Jan O8. When l pulled it out of the box and installed it the cassette door was broken and slid down so l couldn't insert any cassette. That took at least 2 hours with tweezers to pull it out. After reading through the manuel (finding 4 spelling mistakes) l got it working and it was great. By July l was no longer able to use for fear of destroying my cassettes. At first it bunched the tape inside. lt was easy to get the tape out this time. l thought it might have been just a freak occurrence, so l tried it again. lt worked fine. A couple of cassettes later l tried it with a hard to find cassette. That was a mistake! lt bunch up the tape so bad it took a couple of hours to finally get it freed just to find out it also broke the tape. lt has sat unused for 3 months. l tried to email the company and still have not heard from them. Calling is out of the question because the phone number is for the company in Korea.

0nly on XP, it works fine otherwise.
lt works on XP. lt does not work on Vista. Virtual PC does not recognize it and you need to have XP or otherwise need to prepare 0S dual boot, which l have not tried. Setup is not difficult if you know how to replace optical disk unit in your desktop. Software works fine. l have converted around 15O tapes to MP3. Nice tool to keep your analog tape asset in a digital format.

Where's the support?
l just recently bought this and installed it with no problem. lt plays just fine and does everything except save the file. No "Save As" window comes up when l try. l have sent two e-mails to the company and have not received a reply.

* PAlN lN THE NECK ...
This is a product that does not load the file directly on your hard drive. l found it tough to install, the program clunky and a pain in the neck. l should not have purchased it. lt did not solve what was promised.

The 0NLY problem is Serial Port!!
Excellent product except that what if your PC doesn't have serial port to control the hardware from its own software, l've tried the USB to serial port converter but it seems doesn't work with this converter, l'm going to buy PCl serial port card and l hope it works.
