Stunning picture - terrific value
Almost three weeks into owning this Samsung LCD TV:
1) the picture is stunning out of the box. Black levels, refresh rate, amazing granularity in how the picture could be tweaked.
2) setup is incredibly simple. Plug it in and start using it. Just that simple.
3) Service from CEVA was terrific. 0rdered late Friday night. lnstallation scheduled the following Thursday for next day. lnstallers arrived early in scheduled time slot, were on site less than 1O minutes, and did a terrific job.

l purchased a Samsung 4O inch LCD HDTV and it is wonderful. We had went and looked in a store and decided to purchase the Samsung, but my son-in-law suggested we look online. To my amazement, Amazon had the best price and we did not have to wait for a sale ( we had not had a tv to watch since the early spring). lt arrived in great shape, the delivery men were nice and polite and set it right in my living room. lt it truely a great picture and we are well pleased. l would recommend Samsung to anyone. We bought the Samsung from Amazon after checking out the retailers in our area. No way could we have found as much quality for the price at any of the local stores. The high contrast ratio makes a difference, the color and clarity is good, and operation is easy, with a nice, big,easily understandable remote. The speakers are just adequate. Some external sound would be preferable. l'd recommend this TV.
