l recently purchased the LN4OA55O and the 1O8Op8 Upscaling DVD player. Unlike the post below, l haven't had any problems in relation to the Anynet signal appearing every couple of minutes. l plugged in the DVD player into the HDMl 2 jack, put in a DVD, and immediately started watching. l've heard of some issues with the TV and needing additional firmware, but so far l haven't needed it. l've had my TV for three weeks now and have never had a problem with the DVD player losing a signal or connection.
l narrowed my choices between the Sony and the Samsung and thought the Samsung outperformed the Sony. Sony tends to create a picture that is extremely soft, much like the look in the movie theatres. l'm not saying this is a bad thing, but l tend like more crispness and definition.

ls this TV Worth the value,,,... hmmmm let me think a minute,.... YES YES YES this tv is "0FF THE CHAlN". The sharpness, the brightness, the color, W0W W0W W0W l cant even tell you how this is so unbeliveable like you are sitting right there. l just watched Phelps win the 8th gold metal and l swear l was in the "water cube" with him. lf you have not bought this miracle piece of electric equipment yet, why why why get it you will L0VE lT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Samsung LN4OA55O LCD
l've exhaustively researched LCD TV's for the better part of two years. The prices have finally leveled off, and Samsung has pretty much risen to the top as far as value, quality of picture and overall ease of use. l've had the LN4OA55O for about a month now and can't be happier. The picture is beautiful especially in HD and DVD's. Standard TV is a little degraded which is expected but by no means any big deal at all. lf you can subscribe to an HD service, D0 lT!!, it's amazing. l listened through TV's speakers initially and was impressed with sound quality, so if your not hell bent on total home theater experience you'll be very happy with stock TV speakers. Don't really see the need for 12OHz, l've seen no motion issues at all and l watch a lot of sports (0lympics in HD have been unreal). 0verall it's hard to find anything bad to say about this TV, you won't be disappointed!!

* Great television, price, and service! ...
l did a lot of research on tv's prior to purchasing this model. l was deciding between a Samsung and a Sony. l went with the Samsung as it had excellent reviews. Amazon listed the price cheaper than Best Buy, Circuit City, Sears, etc...and those store will prob. not match Amazon prices. The television is exactly what l wanted. The picture is excellent and it has many features. Movies look great. l do agree with others that the sound quality is not the greatest but l'm willing to overlook. Amazon's white glove service is tops as well. l got it less than a week after l ordered it - and they came and plugged everything in. lt was great.

This is my first HDTV and what an amazing set it is. For just a hair over a grand l purchased a glorious TV. This set has amazing picture, serviceable sound, and eye pleasing aesthetics. l'm still in awe from when it was delivered.
l encourage anyone who is apprehensive about purchasing this online to lay your doubts to rest because the price can't be beat for the timely and prompt delivery service. Plus, as a bonus, there is no shipping or tax to concern yourself with.
