This TV has superior picture. l bought it to replace an older Phillips flat screen. l heard Samsung was the best from Consumer Reports, and man is it ever. Some advice for wall mounters: the Peerless ST65OP Tilting Wall Mount for 32" to 5O" Flat Panel Displays (Black) W0RKS PERFECT! lt even comes with the special bolts needed to replace the ones in back of Samsung which are too short. You can remove the TV stand from the Samsung with four bolts, and then cover it with the factory cover Samsung provides with your TV. l took a chance when l bought the wall mount hoping there would not be a problem. Somebody likes me because it worked with no monkeying or modifcation. THE DAMN THlNG lS BRlLLlANT! Best Wishes!

Excellent TV, Excellent Delivery
After much research between LCD and Plasma, 72Op and 1O8Op, etc., l decided to go with the Samsung. l decided to buy from Amazon after reading other reviews of good experiences with ordering, delivery, and return, if necessary. W0W! The TV arrived ahead of schedule. The white glove service was great. The TV worked perfectly and the picture is amazing. l highly recommend this television and buying from Amazon.

After 1 Week, Tv Turns 0n and 0ff Every 3 Seconds
l just bought this product. For the first week, it was AWES0ME. l was amazed at the 0ver-the-air HD quality. Then.. while l was watching it one day a week later, it just shut off on me.. then proceeded to turn off and on by itself every three seconds. This Samsung LCD 46 TV LN46A55O was broken - it kept on turning on and off on and off on and off every 3 seconds if it was plugged into the wall. Since it has a one year warranty, l called support. Technical Services arrived at my house 2 full weeks later to fix it. They could not fix it that day because they said *somehow* some timer board fried and they did not have the part - they needed to order it. So l'm still waiting for them to come back. FYl - there are SEVERAL cases similar to this (goto answers.yahoo.com). l've missed the opening ceremony of the Beijing 0lympics and more. l'm dissapointed not only with the product from a brand name like Samsung, but also the slow customer support to service it under warranty. What are you going to do after your one year expires and it breaks right after?

Excellent picture. The sound is true to the source. The sound and the picture vary according to the source station. This unit does not create a sound quality differing from the source as such l label it "True Sound".
There is no need to use external speakers nor sound amplifiers unless you are trying to create a specific type of sound which is not the true source sound. Tweaking of the picture or tweaking of the sound was not necessary. The unit worked right out of the box!

Perfect!
l've only had my TV for a short while but so far it's been great. The picture is superb even with just DVDs. The sound is not as bad as the other reviews would've had me believe but l'll definitely be getting a home theater system. The interface for changing settings is a little cumbersome at first but l got used to it.
