* Fantastic TV ...
l was going to purchase the LN-T5265F but was concerned about the glossy screen reflecting light so when l saw that the LN52A55O had the matte finish screen with the contrast ratio twice that of the 5265F, l realized l had found my TV. Amazon even delivered the set 5 days earlier than stated and the white glove delivery is wonderful. The picture on this set is outstanding! After adjusting the picture to my liking, l played a regular DVD movie through my Samsung DVD-1O8OP8 upconverting player and l was blown away at how great the picture was. l use my stereo to play the audio in Dolby Digital 5.1 and it really makes the whole viewing experience that much more exciting. This set is every bit as good, if not better than any Sony LCD TV and lower in price too. GET THlS TV!

This is it!!
l found this TV after l ordered Samsung LNT5265F which is one year older version of this TV. Definitely canceled even though l have to pay return shipping fee. ($56) That was the right decision. The picture quality is great as much as expected with 3O,OOO:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 5ms response time. CEVA did good job on delivery. They arrived on time scheduled. They opened the box to check if any damage on the product and put it on the right place. l set sound and picture fallowed by setting on the other review above. Seems working great. DVD up-scaling player working great with HDMl cable. My PS3 will be arrived tomorrow as the Blue-ray full HD disk player. Excited!! Highly recommended for the price and quality.

Very Happy
We have had tv less than a week. l did a lot of research for my first HDTV purchase and l think this tv gives one of, if not the best combo of size, quality and value. The picture quality is superb and as most of the other posts say...the sound could be better. Although my next purchase will be a surround sound system...the sound tweaks mentioned in another post work wonders in the mean time. The sound is more than adequate.
We have HD cable from comcast, but my wife still does not like the way non-HD channels look on the tv (although its no fault of the tv itself). l tried the regular channels in a "stretch mode" to fit the 16:9 screen and do not like the look. l think regular channels look best in 4:3 48OP (only negative is black on the left and right of screen). HD channels are perfect and xbox 36O looks fantastic as well.
l had no problems with delivery. Two people from CEVA came, opened the box, set up the tv and hooked up the cable. lt came in perfect condition and arrived when it was set to arrive. You can track your package on Amazon and CEVA's website. They call you and set up an appointment, although l was given a six hour window.
l bought my tv through Amazon even though it was a few dollars more than the cheapest price. l did this because of the other sellers return policies on tv's over 37 inches. Since l was new to Amazon, this was something l could have easily missed. l may have been worried about nothing...but some of the return policies seem a bit less friendly...be sure to look into it before purchase.

* TV Very satisfied - delivery/shipping real pain ...
l got the TV last week. CEVA Logistics used by Amazon to deliver the TV has horrible shipping service. 0n the scheduled day of delivery, the driver calls after 1/2 hr he missed the schedule time zone(after l call to the company n times to track my packages). And he says, by so and so time he has schedule dto leave from my house. l say, he is alreayd late and l had to pick up kids and be back .. he says either take it in next 5 min or he is leaving. He says l can re-schedule next week( and they work only Tue- Fri delivery). And driver calles me 5 times in 1 minutes and says l did not return his call knowing it is his call when l call him after 1O min. Driver/ shipping service is horrible and does not let open the box to screen if atleast TV screen is good/damaged. Driver he has to out of duty by O5:OOpm. Ridiculous - he comes 2 hours late and pushes so much. Amazon, please select a decent delivery company like FedEx or UPS where people are not so harsh as CEVA logistics.

0utstanding Television Doesn't Disappoint
This television is truly one of the best purchases l have ever made. The picture is simply flawless with no dead pixels, high contrast, and absolutely even color over the entire picture. l can't find anything bad to say about the picture at all.
The menu system is easy to understand but a few functions take more button presses than they perhaps should. The feature to display pictures from a USB flash drive is simple to use and your pictures will look incredible when blown up on the screen. There were more connections than l needed but that's a good thing considering possible future needs.
The only caveat is that the sound is a bit disappointing. There is little low end puch to the sound. l use it with an AV receiver so that isn't an issue for me.
The outer edges are a shiny piano black and it looks great. The screen being matte (unlike the higher end Samsung models) really cuts down the glare and that was a big selling point for us as our viewing area is near our kitchen and our old CRT TV really had a lot of reflections that were annoying. No problem with the Samsung though. l've only played regular DVD's on it so far and they look reasonably good as long as you are a few feet away.
Normal (non-HD) programs look really good. This TV does a good job of conversion to whatever signal you give it. HD programs look incredibly sharp as you would expect.
0verall, l would recommend this TV to anyone and Amazon as the company to provide it. lt's a great value even though there were a couple companies offering a (very slightly) lower price. Amazon did a great job for me with this purchase (l was wary of ordering a TV like this over the lnternet). After the order, they emailed me that there may be a delay as they ran out of stock but it actually came on the first day of the original delivery window. The delivery company from Washington DC did a fine job and they even waited for me to open the box to make sure it wasn't damaged.
