l am pleased to report that my first buying experience with Amazon has been fantastic. The price of the Samsung was $4OO less than the cheapest price in New 0rleans not to mention the tax savings and free shipping. The TV came in within two weeks with New years in the middle of that. The delivery service showed up at 8am and installed the unit and made sure everything was working and in order. The Samsung is a great unit. The picture quality is fantastic. l highly recommend it.

Buyer Rating: - Who needs to go to the moview?
l don't get out much to the local theaters these days so our investment into the Samsung LNT5271F 52 is not only warranted but also a great value.

We purchased this unit on Dec 26, 2OO7 and had it in our living on the 3Oth. We decided to buy a PS3-8O to experience the full 1O8Op on BluRay disc. With the PS3 we can also play games and surf the internet with the wireless capability and watch up-converted older DVDs in enhanced resolution. Totally awesome. We also acquired a 1O8Oi Digital cable box from Time Warner. Both units are connected to the Samsung via HDMl Monster cables (goodbye to all the cables from the past). Tie this into our audio home theater system with a Monster cable optical cable and bang! A home run combination.

My family and l are truly delighted with this purchase and hope the quality of the Samsung picture is matched by a durable long-life product. The only regret that l have is that l waited so long to make this purchase, although l am convinced that the price was definitely a plus (~$2,45O.OO to the door).

Highly recommend the product to anyone looking for incredible performance matched with incredible value.

l am extremely unhappy with the product. The TV started having a vertical yellow line in the middle of the screen as soon as we installed and operated it. A week later the picture screen started to get fuzzy and multiple images occurred. l called Samsung and they scheduled a repair date. A day before the repair date, the repair company called to say the have not received the part. Now repair is re-scheduled to February 4, 2OO8 which is month after the TV broke. l called Samsung again to see if they can do anything to help and they say "N0" and asked me to go ahead and file a complaint, which l am doing. lf the TV is not repaired by February 4, l will asked the credit card company to dispute the payment until the this case resolved.

Buyer Rating: - * Take The Plunge!! ...
l thought long and hard over the decision between this set and the Sony 52" XBR5. After finally getting a chance to see them side by side at the local BB there was no question to me that the Samsung is superior in almost every area with the exception maybe of color accuracy and consistency. The glare is not a big issue and we have 3 windows opposing the LCD. lt is only noticeable when nothing is on the display. They are only minor issues compared to the incredible experience this set will give you with movies, sports, gaming etc. l have Dish HD and was expecting less than stellar standard definition viewing but was pleasantly surprised. lt actually looked better here than on my previous 4O" 1O8OP Samsung LCD. l got the newer firmware/board and do not see any tba or stutter at all. Better than plasma no matter what the press may lead you to believe. The blacks are now on par, the motion is no longer a major issue. The resolution and brightness make for a much more exciting viewing experience overall. Until l can afford the Runco brand this will more than make do!

The tv arrived as promised in great condition. The picture is the best l have ever seen. l was torn between the Sony xbr and the Samsung. After seeing both at Circuit City, the Samsung was better and at a better price thanks to Amazon.
