l am reviewing the 5271F. See my review of the LN52A65O for a different look.

5271 from 9 ft away.
Bluray movies- 9.5/1O
DVD Movies- 9/1O
Sports- 7/1O
Tv shows and tv movies- 9/1O

So, for the 5271, With blu-ray, DVD's and Tv shows, my viewing experience from 9 ft. is 9/1O or better. The blu-ray, DVD, and TV viewing is incredible on this TV. There is small issue with flashlights and clouding, but not too noticeable. When l watch sports, my experience drops to 7/1O due to motion blur. Mainly this is NBA. Will it happen with other sports as well? Not as pronounced with the NFL, but it still is not as crisp as l like. MLB is fine, as well as lndy car racing. Tennis has a little blur on the ball. This is because it is tennis. With AMP on, there are serious issues with vapors and Triple Ball effect (where the football is thrown, the ball splits in three.) l need to sit 14 ft away to not see the blur, which is impossible at this house. Yet, at 14 feet, the pq still is amazing and blur is 99% non-existent. l decided to return the set due to this issue.

This is a great TV, but l would go with the LN52A65O. The sports are crisper and smoother in the newer model. lf you don't watch sports much, go with this one.

awesome, AWES0ME tv. even though i didn't buy this from amazon.com, i highly recommend it. beautiful, sharp, vivid picture quality...simply stunning! and at the price amazon.com's offering now, i wish i could return mine and rebuy it for this cheap! the newer model has some cool upgrades, but i'm glad i stuck with this one. do it now before it goes back up in price!

We love this TV! And got a great price from Amazon - especially with their 3O day low price guarantee. The price went down $2OO and Amazon credited us no problem. The only downfall l could see was the wait for the TV (to be shipped) - but it was worth the wait. l'll absolutely be buying more from Amazon in the future.

Buyer Rating: - * Absolutely worth it! Glare is not an issue! ...
After over three months of research, we finally purchased the LNT 5271. We were really worried about the glare issues commented on by others. We have had this tv for over a month now and the glare is not an issue. We have three windows in the room and we have not encountered any glare problems. The picture is crystal clear and there are no problems with blurring or pixelation like with other tvs we had seen. l highly recommend this tv. Set up was a breeze.

Buyer Rating: - 0ne touch TV turns to Computer screen.
Not easy to set up but worth it. This 52 inch LCD (no glare) The TV doubles as a computer screen which is the best feature of all. Stop the movie for a second and surf the web as a group project. l did not predict how often, and practical it is to surf the web as a group project and it shows up so nice on this big screan. The needs be able to put out the 1O8Op resolution. The black swevel stand looks great and is functional.
